Hello hello hello!

I was lucky enough to work with Kaisercraft's Finders Keepers collection for a feature in Papercraft Essentials issue 133. Kaisercraft are one of my favourite brands, they regularly release full collections that always include a range of co-ordinating elements - there's something for everyone!

This eclectic collection is quirky, bold, nostalgic and whimsical - perfect for a whole range of of cards projects! I especially love the gushing sentiments, which are great for scrapbooking pics too.

I hope you like my quick makes  :)

October!? How is it October already?
Although time is whizzing by at an alarming rate, I am excited that it's Autumn because it means i can crack out my jumper collection and thick woollen tights! Bliss! AND it means that it won't be long until Halloween - this year i'm hoping to go all out with our costumes *watch this space*

This is a quick post to show off some of the cards I made for Simply Cards & Papercraft issue 149, this edition was a complete sell out! I'd like to think that that was my doing, but it was most likely due to the fabulous free gift from Altenew!

Geometrics are bang on-trend and I love bold colours, especially orange. This collection of cards was made for the masculine makes section of the magazine using the latest paper pads from Simply Creative. I've since used these statement papers for many other projects.

I hope you like my take on masculine geometric cards!
Until next time <3

Hello!

I'm excited to share my latest appearance in Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine! Issue 136, which went on sale today features a free scoreboard! I can't wait to get my hands on a copy and have a go - I'm ashamed to say that i've never used a scoreboard! *SHOCK HORROR*

This lovely spread features four free digi stamps drawn by yours truly. I really relished creating the designs, and trying to think of workable imagery that the readers and I would like to work with when papercrafting. I went with a floral, bohemian theme for those spring/summer creations for loved ones - i hope you like!

You can download the free digi's from the papercraft magazines website, where you can also find templates to use with the fab scoreboard too! [Plus links to the other magazines]

Evening all,

The best thing about working in a crafty environment is working with some truly lovely creative people. I think I certainly learn more nattering to my friends and colleagues than watching TV...

My lovely new friend Aimes, *SHOUT OUT* introduced me to a stamping brand very dear to her heart, Clearly Besotted! And i soon learnt how amazing the owner & creator Stephanie is!

I'm besotted, and whenever i get chance to make a cheeky card, i find myself reaching for their stash!

I hope you like my latest make - Patterned papers + Clearly Besotted + Wink of Stella <3

Planning to attack IKEA at the weekend for my dream craft space... wish me [+ my credit card] luck!

My bad... it's been rather a few days since i last posted anything.

I promise i was off being creative elsewhere! I'm actually in the process of designing some digi stamps so i've been drawing [like a 7 year old child]

This evening i decided to have a play with my IndigoBlu metallic paints and the end of a pencil, trying to create unusual textures, and this is what happened.

I think this card is a perfect quick fix [minus the time it takes to dry!]

I hope you like!

p.s Day 16 without sugar in my tea.. still missing it.
Evening' all,

I had a good long think today about whether i consider myself to be a hoarder. On the one hand i can't do certain tasks without OCD tendencies [e.g wiping the kitchen work surfaces] but on the other i tend to want to recycle and reuse everything. As a child my mum would hoard wrapping paper from my birthday gifts which i thought was bizarre... but i now find myself doing it! I cant even throw away a pair of old jeans... clinging onto the thought that i might turn them into a 90's throwback bag. [i haven't been drinking]

The mind boggles... With this in mind i made a few scrap-themed cards to use up some odds and sods. Plus brand-new American Crafts Washi tape - it would be rude not to.
