October!? How is it October already?
Although time is whizzing by at an alarming rate, I am excited that it's Autumn because it means i can crack out my jumper collection and thick woollen tights! Bliss! AND it means that it won't be long until Halloween - this year i'm hoping to go all out with our costumes *watch this space*

This is a quick post to show off some of the cards I made for Simply Cards & Papercraft issue 149, this edition was a complete sell out! I'd like to think that that was my doing, but it was most likely due to the fabulous free gift from Altenew!

Geometrics are bang on-trend and I love bold colours, especially orange. This collection of cards was made for the masculine makes section of the magazine using the latest paper pads from Simply Creative. I've since used these statement papers for many other projects.

I hope you like my take on masculine geometric cards!
Until next time <3

Ahoy hoy!

I've got that Friday feeling, and this weekend I'm planning to knuckle down and make some cards just for me! There's a bunch of stamps that I've been dying to use, and it's been a while since I got chance to have a messy stamping sesh!

Recently, I was lucky enough to be given the chance to make some retro cards with the gorgeous Basic Grey Typeset collection! I love the colour scheme and the cool embellishments in this collection - the patterned papers are just so damn funky too!

Here's a sneak peek of a few of my cards in this feature, to get the full scoop you'll need to peruse Simply Cards & Papercraft 145 which is on sale now! Grab it here!

Keep smiling!

Happy Easter!

It's not looking too much like spring right now, but it's only a matter of time before the flowers are blooming! With that in mind, i thought i'd try and gather some inspiration for wedding flowers.
The ambition is to do my own and keep it simple and classy.

Here are some ideas i've seen on Pinterest [How did we cope before Pinterest!?]

Love this table layout! <3

It's starting to look like Spring and i have been a busy bee!

I thought i'd mix it up and create a quick sewing project with the help a tutorial. I'm ashamed to say i have a short attention span when it comes to crafting, there are many unfinished projects in my expanding craft stash! This project is ideal for a craft-goldfish like me, as i had it finished in a couple of hours!

This tutorial caught my eye on Pinterest and i had a lovely time making my bag [despite the ironing...] I thoroughly recommend this project as it only takes a few fat quarters and it would make a fab gift for a loved one!

My choice of lovely fabrics and the finished bag! <3

I think i'll have to book a summer holiday just to make use of my new beach bag :)
